Besides Dani trying to run from drama, since Mira needs actual shadows, this makes their powersets inimical, doesn't it? Especially if Dani's powered up in the sun. Mira seems to have moved on from that she temporarily wasn't in the driver's seat when abandoning Dani to trying to explain the even more awkward she's not looking for a relationship at the moment.
