Sorry I've been a bit quiet, but even apart from this insurance situation, several other things in the past month have absolutely burst into metaphorical flames, and I've been running around putting out fires.
I think this insurance situation is now resolved, but I'm not celebrating until I'm on my ride home from getting this procedure done.

Investigating the surgery application process myself at the moment, though here in Nova Scotia, I'll be dealing with the Provincial Government Medical Services Insurance instead of a private insurance company. If they update the paperwork to WPATH8 standard, then other than therapist and doctor's report, I qualify already, and the wait time for a surgical slot in Montreal would be about 8 months from submitting the application. If they don't update from the current WPATH7 standard, then add another year to the process.
