I tend to focus my comics on the positive (even if not always easy) parts of my trans experience. And the truth is, my transition is great! Every thing I've done for myself has been good for me.
But that's not the whole story. There's lots of external forces pressing in on my life as a result of me being trans, and they make many things a lot harder. I have no regrets, and no plans to go backwards, but it gets tiring.
