I don't think anyone here will blame you if you wanna take a "break" break (i.e. nothing animated at all for 6 months or a year). There is also the possibility that this was just a hobby and you've simply moved on from it. I used to be into creative writing and wrote a lot. I considered going "pro"....then I suddenly lost the urge to write. It took YEARS of zero output for me to finally accept that writing was just an adolescent hobby for me and nothing more...and that I had moved on from it. But whatever your decision, know that you've brought MILLIONS of people so much joy & pleasure. Please don't forget that. ❤️

Internet stranger sharing this feeling so very, very deeply today. It feels like this sentiment persists across all the wavelengths right now and it's -so exhausting-. I keep reminding myself we can't change the winds, but we can change our sails (it doesn't always help 🫠). You're a skilled visionary, and that always seems to come with such a heavy crown to bear. Even if you stopped EVERYTHING today, you would still have an immense body of beloved work, and 30 years from now that might still feel good. 🥰 -burnt out SAHM rambling, seasoned with love and support.

This may seem like weird advice but I used to be obsessed with puzzle games and sometimes I'd get stuck days weeks months it was always the same I'd get frustrated walk away from it for a day a week mamabey even a month but I'd pick it back up and finish it one day like it was nothnothing and I'd wonder what was so hard about this. Wishing you all the best I've been a fan for years your art is amazing.

Dearest Derpixon, please take a vacation. Leave your home, office and studio and find a nice hotel on a beach or a mountain and relax there at least a week. Put your pens down and do what's best for yourself. I promise you'll have the full support of your fans.
