Mare Go Round - 1992
🕑 Added 2020-05-05 01:31:20 +0000 UTCGenesis! To the best of my recollection, this is my first completed furry color piece, finished late in 1992. This dressed up mare shows my love for carousel horses, and the beginning of a years-long struggle to figure out the best way to draw an equine anthro.
I re-drew this piece in 2017 for my 25th anniversary art book So Cute! (hence the name of my commission tier) to show the evolution of my technique.
Original artwork drawn on bristol, colored with PrismaColor marker. A limited print run was done on a color photocopier in 1993, this image was scanned from my archived print copy.
