Freak of the Week: American Coot!

There sure are a lot of neat critters out there. So keep them suggestions comin'!
And here's a freak I'd never seen before, suggested by Ellis! Thank you so much! I loved learning about these freaky footed fowl. This might be one of the first from this series that I could see in the wild right here in Missouri!! Ohhhh how I wish to see a bald headed cootling some day!!

i used to see these funny little guys all the time when i lived in the bay area!

Aw I love these silly guys, my friend and I saved one that had fishing wire wrapped around its wing and legs and nicknamed them Cooper.
