It's Bajiquan's most iconic move, Ding Zhou (Charging Elbow): a piercing elbow strike that also operates as a deflection. A key feature of Baji is the idea of each move being an attack that will also protect you, so thematically it's kind of like training to beat someone to death with a shield.
