Yes. XD

Is Elith referring to a real cartoon?

Triceratops, Stegosaurus, and Ankylosaurus!

green

oh gosh yeah! considering that every time researchers delve into bird intelligence the estimates keep going *up*, and birds basically *are* theropods that survived the extinction! also I keep thinking about that one comic you did where Kim was speculating about what life would be like if the Permian extinction event never happened, it's one of my favorites, and an inspiration for my "what if the Chicxulub impact had been a near miss instead" alternate-earth story. XD

I have made exactly this argument myself! I sometimes like to think about finding booted-claw bootprints on the moon... XD

William Cole

Also an Anklyosaurus fan! (And Dimetrodon if we're counting not-actually-dinosaur dinosaurs).

After 65 million years of erosion, how can we be sure some dinosaurs did not build cities and railroads with electricity and everything? If humans died out over the next thousand years, would there be anything left of our civilization 65 million years from now? All the continents would have subsumed under the sea plates by then. No evidence remaining.

Duh banger. Dis mah banger. Bang 'em good. Wham.

Obliviontoad

Stegosaurs had a Thagomizer, what do the call the hammer tail thing on the Ankylosaurus?

Hugh Eckert

When I found out that birds were therapod dinosaurs I was a) thrilled and b) unsurprised.

Sen

That's a great one, also Microraptor

I can't find the article atm but a study recently proposed out we've probably been underestimating dinosaur intelligence in general, suggesting T. Rex is closer to intelligence to baboons and dromaeosaurs and troodontids closer to the Chimpanzee range!

Aaron J. Shay

Parasaurolophus and Pachycephalosaurus are totally rad critters! Absolutely fascinating bone-structures on both of 'em. They're also dinos I got Senna to draw for me at previous Geek Girl Cons. :)

Tried a different browser and that worked.
