He was initially much more stern looking, but I decided it was too close to Kusanagi, and wanted him to look softer, younger, and more vulnerable.Also note that his surname is Kim and his personal name is Yeong-Soo. East Asian naming order puts the family name first, so a westernized ordering would have him be Yeong-Soo Kim.
