Believing true order and peace comes from an orderly mind, the mental trials of an Allyan Jedi are the most grueling in the galaxy. Allyans do not carry weapons, as they believe personal combat to be beneath the role of a Jedi. Those who become Knights serve the Republic as special navigators, orchestrating and guiding fleets through Battle Meditation.

Allyans are also the only school of Jedi to put any stake in prophecy. Elsewhere, Jedi conventionally believe that the future is "always in motion."

Lore note: it's believed that Galactic Emperor Palpatine was a direct descendant of a hereditary line of secret Allyan advisors to the Republic.
