The one in the picture is designed to make drainage ditches.

We use ours on the farm for snow removal and opening the roads in the winter. Works great for that unless it gets really deep. Leveling yards and prairie trails. Ours is very useful. Not sure how useful it would be in FS though. https://johnsonmfg-hygrade.com/
