In an instant, Damian sensed a surge of strength coursing through his body, revitalizing his weary limbs, and his breathing steadied with newfound vigour.
Finally, Damian looks at other rewards he has gained after making his 25th and 50th kill in this world. It was a magic spell. Damian was ecstatic when he saw it. Finally, something that he could use in battle. He accepts the reward and gains an understanding of the spell.
The magic spell "Bless Strength" is a mystical incantation that harnesses the power of magic to enhance the physical abilities and strength of an individual or a group. When cast, it imbues the recipient with a temporary surge of supernatural energy, augmenting their muscles, endurance, and overall physical capabilities.
The spell requires a skilled mage who possesses a strong connection to magical forces. They channel their focus and intentions through spoken words, gestures, or a combination of both, invoking the desired effect of enhancing the target's strength for a short time.
Once the spell is successfully cast, the recipient experiences an immediate surge of power. Their physical attributes are temporarily heightened, enabling them to exhibit feats of strength, speed, and endurance beyond their normal capabilities. The enhanced strength can range from a subtle boost to a significant increase, depending on the caster's skill and the potency of the spell.
It is important to note that the effects of the "Bless Strength" spell are usually temporary. The duration of the enhancement varies depending on the spellcaster's proficiency and the specific circumstances surrounding the casting. Generally, the heightened physical abilities endure for a limited period, typically ranging from minutes to hours, before gradually fading away.
While the "Bless Strength" spell can be a formidable asset in battles or physically demanding situations, it should be used judiciously. Overusing or relying solely on the spell's effects may lead to physical strain or exhaustion once the enhancement wears off. Therefore, wise practitioners employ it strategically, conserving its usage for critical moments when a surge of strength can tip the scales in their favour.
As with any magical spell, the potency and effectiveness of "Bless Strength" can vary based on the proficiency and power of the caster, as well as the inherent magical properties of the world in which the spell is cast.
As Damian reads the explanation of the magic spell "Bless Strength" from the system, his brows furrow in concentration. He absorbs the information, his mind working to grasp the concept and potential implications of such a spell.
'Bless Strength... to harness the power of magic to enhance one's physical abilities. It's truly fascinating.' Damian thinks in his head after digesting the incantation of the magic spell and understanding its capabilities. The incantation was in the old tongue and even though Damian had only just started to learn the Old tongue from his men who knows it, he could very well speak and understand what the incantation means and does to a person or the group when applied to them.
Damian takes a deep breath, his voice resonating with a steady resolve. He closes his eyes, grounding himself in the present moment. With the ancient incantation firmly in his mind, he begins to speak the words in the old tongue of the North, their cadence carrying the weight of generations past.
Damian: "Halda krafta styrka, þruma viðja blóðug, hefja þig ógnandi, afl okkur allsvaldr."
As the final syllable of the incantation leaves Damian's lips, a shimmering aura envelops him, pulsating with an ethereal energy that only he can see. No one bats an eye at him other than a few men like Jory who heard him say the incantation. Though he doesn't understand what it means and turns his head back to help the men still climbing the wall to step over the ramparts
With each breath he takes, Damian feels an empowering surge coursing through his veins, filling him with unwavering resolve and a heightened sense of physical might. His muscles tingle, infused with the magic that resonates deep within his being.
Damian feel his mana depleting by half, but he knew deep down that the price he paid was worth it. Now he feels better than when he felt at the start of the war.
"Wow, this spell is incredible! With its power, I can keep fighting for at least another half an hour without any issues," Damian exclaimed inwardly, his thoughts brimming with enthusiasm and confidence.
Damian Stark stood atop the southern rampart wall of Blacktyde Castle, surveying the scene below. The Ironborn defenders had put up fierce resistance at first, but they were now weakened and vulnerable. The time had come to seize the golden opportunity and unlock the castle gates, granting passage to the army of the North.
Damian swiftly issued orders to his trusted companions - Jory, Raymond, Selena, Arslen, and the rest of his men - to follow him down and assist in the task of opening the gates. They nodded in understanding, their faces etched with determination as they prepared to carry out their leader's command.
