Definitely a Google doc. Patreon is starting to be terrible.

Honestly, if it is possible or you have the time, just switching all of the prior chapters to Google docs links would make it so you no longer had to worry about them getting removed alongside making it more consistent for new patrons reading ahead. A lot of NSFW writers on patreon switched to Google docs because of the same issue you're having, and it looks like patreon is removing your chapters consistently since I see updates of old chapters all of the time
