The Brat, Chapter 2

Three days later, Eloise and Asher were at the mall, trying on new clothes. Well, at least, Eloise was trying on new clothes; Asher was mainly there for moral support. Eloise kept having to remind herself to pick clothes that would still be fairly loose on her, since she was going to grow a little bit more, but it was hard trying them on, since they looked stupid and too big and just...bad, honestly. And, in Eloise’s opinion…really bad. This had thrust her in another sour mood, and to make matters worse, she was also hungry. But they had literally just eaten like 30 minutes ago at the food court, and Asher had already gently told her to let at least some of her food digest before she ate again. Eloise was trying…really trying…not to be a bitch to Asher, but if she was being honest, it was all just...just so annoying. The whole situation. And Asher didn’t really know what it was like, with all this shit happening to her body, and the mental gymnastics that went with it…and it SURE didn’t help that he had just asked her to “chill.”
"Well it's easy for YOU to say!" she exclaimed hotly, tossing a few pairs of pants onto the floor that didn't fit. "YOU'RE not the one who can't fit into anything except UGLY crap! And I don’t care that we just ate – I'm hungry again!"
She could see that Asher was trying to calm her down, and for some reason the fact that he had been looking smaller these last few days made it all extra-annoying in the moment. But then Eloise remembered that her legs are bigger than his, and something warmed inside her. She knew that this feeling, whatever it was, was certainly…weird. But she disregarded the oddness of it all – it made her feel good to think about their size difference, and that’s what really mattered, anyway.
For his part, Asher stood there, trying to settle his girlfriend down, and his mind went back to the past few days. It hadn't been that long since they had spent the night massaging and watching TV, but already in those three or so days, Eloise had passed 5'6…at least, that's what they had measured this morning. Having plenty of experience with her moods, Asher rushed to stave off the flood, before it bubbled up and engulfed her, him, and probably everyone else in the mall as well.
"I get it, you're hungry,” Asher said patiently, holding up his hands and taking extra care not to have any edge in his voice. “These aren't ugly though…I mean, I actually think they're kinda nice. Besides, once all this growth stops in a few days we'll be able to get you some nicer, more permanent things, you know?"
He smiled, seeing the stress in her eyes as she looked up at him, and hoped that he could somehow just teleport his sense of calm into her. It was a bit different now that the gap was 6 inches instead of a foot, though.
"Here,” Asher said suddenly, pointing down at the pile of clothes, “How about you grab what you think is cute and let's just go back to the food court, okay?"
Eloise huffed, rolling her eyes. Why did Asher have to be reasonable when all she wanted to do was throw a tantrum? She wrenched up a cute little dress she liked, and a couple t-shirts, and she was about to go stomping off to the food court when something caught her eye...a dazzling, glinting pair of red heels that looked like they were pretty tall...maybe 5 inches...or maybe even 6!?
"Hold up," Eloise said, going over to the heels as she dropped the clothes she wanted into Asher’s arms. "I wanna try these on real quick."
Asher was glad they were making it out of this place – luckily he wasn't the one paying, since, as usual, Eloise’s father was – but the price tags here always made him sweat, just thinking about how he could keep up with her taste.
"Woah…” he said, just as Eloise unceremoniously dropped the clothes into his arms. "Come on, babe, don't you have enough shoes?" It wasn't about the heels for Asher; it was just that he was tired and Eloise was obviously hangry. The sooner they left, the better, he figured.
But Eloise ignored his question, making a beeline for the shiny red heels. They were just so...pretty...and BIG! Like...super-big. Eloise wondered how to tell how tall they were? She picked them up, looking around the heels for some info, but couldn't find anything.
‘Seriously?’ Eloise thought, instantly getting irritated again, ‘How hard is it to just say how tall they are?’
She dropped the heel onto the floor and began rummaging around behind it for a box with her size, which at this point was already an 8. Eloise’s doctor seemed to think that her relatively large foot size at this point meant that she was going to grow a lot more. Eloise hoped that was the case. But she was dead-set on the heels right now...because she knew that there was one sure-fire way to see how tall they are: to try them on and then stand next to Asher.
She strapped them on in a flash and then sauntered over to him, purposefully milking the "sexy" part of the walk. He seemed smaller and smaller as she got closer, until...there they were...staring at each other...eye to eye!
"Oh....my.....GOD!" Eloise broke out into a huge smile, her eyes going wide. "Are we the same height!?"
A few seconds before, Asher had sighed as Eloise started to mess with the shoes.
"Come on, seriously?" he had said, before she took a box out and slipped them on. That's when his attitude had started to change. With each step as she got closer, Asher had felt himself shift from annoyance...to slightly nervous...to slightly turned on...to slightly intimidated, when Eloise finally made it up next to him and he saw those beautiful big blue eyes looking right into his own. That was something that he had never experienced with her before.
"I...I don't know...wow those make you look really tall..." he managed to say, sounding a bit dumb in his own ears as he looked up and down and then saw the mirror facing them head on. From there, it sure did look like they were the same height…
Eloise looked back and forth, from the mirror to Asher, and back again. She likewise had never felt this feeling before...or, she never had before a week ago. Now she had noticed this feeling more and more recently...something like a...she didn't quite know how to put it...like, some kind of a hunger, not the food kind that she felt all the time anyway, but, like...a different kind of hunger. A desire…a desire to be taller than Asher. Bigger than Asher. A desire to laugh and tease him about it. She didn't know where it was coming from, but she loved it.
"You know..." Eloise ventured, even though she wasn’t even sure if it was true or not, since she couldn’t see clearly, "I think I'm taller than you in these, Asher."
Asher stared at the mirror, unable to tell from this distance. Eloise just saying it out loud...it was a strange thing to hear from her. He couldn’t really say that he disliked it...but he didn't know how he felt. Why was it making him feel so weird all of a sudden?
"Nah, I don't think so…those would have to be like 6.5 inches for that to be the case," Asher responded matter-of-factly after a few uncertain seconds. "But hey, why don't you buy them and we can find out at home?”
"I WILL buy them," Eloise replied promptly, slipping them off and tossing them on top of the stack of clothes Asher was already holding. She hated how she felt small again all of a sudden...but she reminded herself that it was not going to be that way for long.
"Or, more specifically,” she added, putting her hands on her enlarged hips, “YOU are gonna use Daddy's card to buy them…I'M gonna go get another chicken sandwich."
And Eloise swiftly turned and left Asher standing there, holding all the clothes and the new heels, as she sauntered away, purposefully moving her ass suggestively with each step.
Three days later, sitting in a movie theater at the same mall, Asher sat with his hand on Eloise’s thigh the whole movie. Luckily for him, the one she had picked was short, because of how dull it was. At least it had some funny parts and was only an hour and forty five minutes, but, based on how deep it went, it may as well have been a kid’s movie. The other thing that had Asher distracted was Eloise’s crunching...every two seconds it seemed like she was stuffing another handful of popcorn (extra-extra large size) into her mouth. He was surprised she didn't start slurping on her straw...until she did briefly before asking him to get a refill on both, which he had only been too happy to do, to get out of the movie for a few minutes.
As the lights were turning on for the credits at the movie’s end, Asher looked over to the second tub and saw that it was basically half gone as well.
"Well, that was interesting..." he chuckled, looking at her, feeling a bit different now as he stared at her straight on for the first time in a couple hours. It had only been a week or so of the treatment, but already it felt to Asher like Eloise’s face had changed slightly. It wasn't just closer to his now when they were standing; it felt bigger too…just like the rest of her did now.
Eloise stuffed her hand into the popcorn, crunching on another few bitefulls before she answered. The movie wasn't at all what she had expected it to be...way less making out. Instead of that, the male lead had engaged in all this cutesy, beta beating around the bush for most of the movie, before the lead girl finally felt sorry for him and asked him out. At least, that’s how Eloise had interpreted it.
"It sucked," she declared flatly, standing up, clutching her popcorn as she turned to leave the theater. She noticed Asher standing up after her, and then following her from behind. Generally, this had been the pattern: she decided when they did stuff, what we did, yadda yadda, all the rest. But lately, Eloise had just been noticing it...more. And how Asher was a little more preoccupied with her body these days. She had caught him looking at her ass or her legs or her boobs…all the time. Eloise thought it was hilarious, especially when she caught him peeking at her when he thought he was being sly about it. But sometimes, she thought that he seemed, like...worried or something. Or confused…and Eloise didn't have a lot of sympathy for that mindset. As far as she was concerned, Asher was just going to have to get used to all this. Her doctor had just told her, the other day, that she was shooting up WAY faster than normal. Maybe she was in that tiny .0001% of the group that would actually KEEP growing. She fervently hoped so.
"Come on, let's get outta here," she muttered, and then quickly glanced behind her, smiling as she caught Asher looking straight down at her butt. She shook it suggestively – it looked even bigger squeezed into those hyper-modern jean shorts from Valentino.
"Like what you see, huh?" she teased, staring slightly up at him.
Asher followed behind, at least a bit happy that Eloise agreed with him about the movie, even though it was probably for different reasons. His mind immediately shot to other things, however, when she had stood up, and especially when she started flaunting that tight ass of hers and teasing him. In the new jean shorts her backside looked fantastic (though he shuddered to think about the price), and those added inches to her legs made her whole appearance all the more enticing. Asher couldn’t help but feel that Eloise was meant to be like this, just by the easy, effortless, graceful way that she moved with her new size. But he also noticed how tight the shorts were on her thighs now; they hadn't always been that way, even a day or two ago. It made him wonder just how much longer this was going to go on for.
"Oh yeah I do,” he grinned in response, “But…I, uhm…I think we might need to get those shorts off of you sooner rather than later.” He came up from behind and put a hand around her waist, giving it a gentle slap. But even that innocuous touch made him dwell on what was going on…and still in progress. Eloise just felt…bigger, thicker, all around.
Just as they were walking out, a blonde woman was coming out at the same time, and Asher accidentally bumped into her slightly.
"Sorry," he said courteously to her, before doing a double-take, thinking she looked familiar.
Eloise swiftly turned around to look at whoever was in their way, when she felt her mouth dropping open. It was Gabriella! Their friend from high school! And looking a LOT shorter, now...though of course it was because Eloise was now over 5'8.
"Oh my GOD, Gabriella!" Eloise exclaimed, jostling her popcorn bucket to one side so that she could go in for the hug, "I haven't seen you in FOREVER, girl!”
“E-Eloise!?” stammered a perplexed Gabriella, hugging her before giving her a blank stare.
“Hahaha you're surprised,” Eloise smirked, soaking up her friend’s shock. “Yeah, you know, I'm doing that height treatment...yep, the one in the news...bet you’re not too shocked I went in for it, huh? I'm already over 5'8, soooo...."
And here Eloise reached up her hand, drawing it over the top of her head and straight forward, so that it went straight over Gabriella’s head.
"Yep! Taller than you now, hahaha! But don't worry...you’re not alone!"
Eloise used her free arm and threaded it through Asher’s, jostling her big hips and hip-checking him, making him stumble slightly as she steadied him with her arm. In the process, she privately noted how much easier it was to manipulate his body.
"THIS guy's next on my list! Haha, I only have like 4 inches to go before I'm taller than him! Right, babe? You looking forward to being the shrimp in the relationship?"
Asher couldn't really get a word in as he realized who it was they were talking to. Gabriella had been one of the more popular girls in school, along with Eloise...only, given she was 5'7, she had always seemed to have a bit of a leg up on Eloise…well, except that her father wasn't one of the wealthiest men in the city, state...country, really. Asher could see it in the way Eloise talked to her, especially when she had put her hand over Gabriella’s head and quite clearly told her that she had passed her. He could see the glee...he had been seeing it a bit too when they were at the house. Sharon, the maid, wasn't the last person Eloise had outgrown. Jose, the gardener, had been next just a day ago, and Carlos, the chef, hadn’t been too far behind.
"Haha, you're pretty tall though, Asher,” Gabriella laughed, pulling him back into the present moment, “So I don't know if you should worry too much."
"She's sprouting up like a weed," Asher replied, managing to laugh before looking down slightly to Eloise, who did not seem to appreciate being compared to a weed. "Might have to buy some Doc Martin's or something," he added, holding Eloise close to him by her waist as she very pointedly began leading him away from the encounter. Gabriella nodded, laughing as she waved goodbye, with a slight bit of popular-girl energy, that little bit of simulated, fake energy that can ensue when seeing someone from high school.
"Well that was someone I hadn't thought about in years," Asher said a minute later as they were nearing the car, a Lamborghini, one of Eloise’s dad's that he let them borrow. Asher was opening the door for her, the popcorn bucket still in her hand, noticeably even more empty than when they had started to leave.
"Did you see the look on her face!?" Eloise laughed, in a very good mood after that encounter. "Hahaha oh my goddd...she tried to hide it, but I could tell she didn't know what to do! All these days of aching, bone pain, hot flashes...it's all worth it, just for Gabby's expression. Totally worth it."
Eloise was about to get into the car when she suddenly stopped and straightened up, looking Asher dead in the eye, loving that she didn't have to raise her eyes too much to do that.
"You know I'm serious, right?" she said pointedly, "About getting taller than you. You were joking with Gabby like I was just having fun, but I'm dead serious about that, Asher. It's gonna happen."
She stuck her tongue out through her teeth and grinned at him, shrugging at his blank expression as she ducked into the car, before adding: "I just hope you're ready for it!"
