Hyunsuk is the mom and Jihoon is the dad. Itβs official because they said it themselves several times. (On their 4th-anniversary interview, Junghwan still thanked Hyunsuk for being the mom of the group π) They said if the kids are feeling down or stressed, theyβll go to Hyunsuk for comfort. But if the kids have problems, theyβll go to Jihoon for solutions. Believe it or not, Hyunsuk is a gentle mom and Jihoon is a strict dad π About the leaders, I think the dynamic doesnβt change much. Hyunsuk and Jihoon are still the parents of the group and still the ones who monitor their practice. Junkyu and Asahi just take responsibility when they have to deal with the agency or something like that. I think Junkyu is like a silly uncle and Asahi is like a calm middle child who takes care of the maknae line. Fun fact: Doyoung is Hyunsukβs favorite child. The members even protested about it in their first Weekly Idol. Reminder: I told you guys before about the subtitles of episode 20. I saw someone already commented the link for the correct sub video. They said the group dynamic didnβt change much even with the leader switch because theyβre all so close π I figured Hyunsuk & Jihoon will still take care of the others to some degree since they are the two oldest
