I'm surprised yous hadn't seen this already. It definitely influenced Saw, but watch any crime thriller that came out within 10 years after this and they are all modeled after it, for better or worse.

I think you guys should watch Sinister if you havenβt. Itβs such a different premise to a thriller/horror
James Skelton
Same!

This movie is so dark but so good. I loved your reaction!

It is bleak indeed, but such a good movie. They actually wrote like 7 different endings but decided to stick with the one that we see in the movie because the director David Fincher wanted a darker ending to the story, with the box being way more shocking than the other endings.
ZitherManifesto
one of the greatest movies of all time imo.

I did see it in the theater, awesome

Sugestion you asked us at the end so you can ignore π True Detective season 1, Perry Manson season 1, The Night of miniseries and Severance. Watch first episode of each to see if is for you. Good night.

I love this movie. I remember seeing it in the movie theater when it was released in 1997 I think. Kevin Spacey is fantastic in it and the entire final scenes from his reasonings why to the scenes in the desert, goosebumps
James Skelton
Imagine seeing that in the theater. We still say, what's in the box?!
