You weren't entirely wrong. Asami was originally supposed to be in cahoots with her dad, but the fans loved her so much that they developed her character more. This show will do a good job or breaking many tropes.

The pacing of these episodes is fantastic, sometimes you feel like you watched a whole hour in just 20 minutes yet are still infuriated when the episode ends. The music, the animation, the voice acting, everything is on point. I can’t wait to see your reaction to the last three episodes, based on how much you’ve liked them so far you are gonna love it

If you have never seen the Netflix Daredevil, man what a great watch. Gritty done correctly.
