This show must be such culture shock for Americans. I know I'm a week late, but here's some context: 1/ Winston Churchill is the (then) future Prime Minister not President, in during WW1 he was Lord of the Admiralty (aka, in charge of the Royal Navy) who also did a lot of war planning. To say he was infamous in certain circles is an understatement - especially if you were involved in the Gallipoli landings. 2/ BSA Company is the Birmingham Small Arms Company - aka the factories that produced rifles and machine guns.

10 bob is 10 shillings, they would say 10 quid if it was 10 British pounds.

Alan! lol. Sam Neil is one of our best out of New Zealand. He’s also an awesome human in real life and has a little farm with pigs goats and ducks, who all have cute names and he puts out videos interacting with them. He’s so sweet, so it’s always weird seeing him in this kind of role.
