No Rest for the Wicked - HDR Optimized Settings

The game is NOT using/applying Xbox/Playstation or PC HDR Calibration app settings.
The game has a good but somewhat overly complicated HDR implementation as it can reach 2.000 nits while offering many, intertwined in-game HDR controls.
You can leave regular Brightness, Contrast, Saturation and UI Brightness sliders to their Default/Middle position as those already represent a balanced PQ/Gamma and I've found that experimenting with them will negatively affect HDR rendition.
Now, moving with the other 3 HDR controls.
If you have an LG OLED and:
> you're using Dynamic Tone Mapping or Dynamic Contrast:
Set HDR Base Brightness slider to: 150% (which will be around 2.000 nits coupled with increased Contrast below)
Set HDR Contrast slider to: 150% (this will actually allow to reach the 2.000 nits above);
Leave HDR Richness slider to: Default/Middle;
> you're using HGIG:
Set HDR Base Brightness slider to: 75% (which is around 800 nits) or 100% (for G2) or 150% (for G3).
Leave HDR Contrast slider to: Default/Middle;
Leave HDR Richness slider to: Default/Middle.
If you don't have an LG OLED and:
> you don't have an HGIG option:
Leave HDR Base Brightness slider to: 100% (which will be around 1.000 nits);
Leave HDR Contrast slider to: Default/Middle;
Leave HDR Richness slider to: Default/Middle.
> you're using HGIG:
Set HDR Base Brightness and Contrast sliders to the crossed values for the corresponding real Peak HDR Luminance of your TV in "nits" (but possibly start with HDR Contrast slider to 100%):

All the settings will stay after TV firmware updates.

Unrelated question but does updating the lg g2 change the settings or do they stay as before when i put them in?
