Suicide Squad - HDR Optimized Settings

The game is NOT using/applying Xbox/Playstation or PC HDR Calibration app settings.
The HDR implementation of this game is really bad as Black Levels are completely raised and washed out, Peak HDR Luminance is fixed and not adjustable to around 1.000 nits and provided in-game HDR sliders are totally useless...
HGIG is also recommended as DTM may raise the already very elevated blacks even more.
Don't try to change any of the in-game sliders or you will end up to an even worse/unbalanced picture.
What you can do is changing the Fine Tune Dark Areas setting on LG OLEDs to something around -25 (if you're using VRR) to compensate or outside VRR and for other TVs lower the Black Level / Brightness setting from 50 to around 39.
Another quick "fix" is to just disable HDR altogether for this game and play it in SDR instead... :/

Looks like the new update changed the settings. My default HDR has changed.

Try Gamma -2 first, if it's not enough also touch the Black Level

Decreasing FTDA that much is never a real solution. The game is just bad in HDR and devs need to fix/patch it, otherwise it will never be completely good...

Makes sense. Thanks for the reply. Iโve tried playing around with the FTDA setting as you suggested, and in many cases it does make the game look a lot better. The only drawback is that it also seems to darken even the bright areas (which is something Iโve never noticed this setting do in any other game that Iโve used it).

HGIG as black levels are already too much raised and DTM may raise them even more...
