thanks for the chapter 'And though that' though -> through

Miri

Lovely chapter. "And though that, they had understood as one that it was better that way." -> "And *through* that", I believe?

I hope it's okay but I really loved the view of the System for the last couple chapters and was feeling a bit poetic about it. "The universe looks you over from head to toe. Inspecting every facet of your being, it gingerly runs its hands over your body just a breath away from your skin. You know if it were to touch you, you would simply cease to exist and yet it takes great care. After an eternity it stands upright. It now stares into your eyes, and... smiles, small tears like galaxies flow down it's face. The universe wipes the galaxies from its eyes and reachs a hand to you in love and longing. It mouths a word you do not hear but feel in the depths of your very being. "Beautiful" it whispers, joy and pride and sorrow fill its voice. The whisper roars through your soul as it mouths another word made just for you. "Awake"."

Daniel

Well we know his memories of his old world have been slowly muting. So some of this is understandable. But if he is able to remember it like of the other dreams then we could see change but he may not get that

Arthurs's stupidity drove this entire plot arc, and frankly, this drama is not why I started reading this story. I did not start reading this story for Isekai protagonist idiocy and angst. The entire issue is also more about logistics than anything, and that Arthur has had all the knowledge and examples that could solve this from our world removed is beyond retarded. Edit: Sorry if I'm coming off harsh here, but this world, unique as it is, has so much potential. As it is now viewed through a main character I dislike more and more as chapters roll inn, I am stopping my read here.

Not sure I agree with the who duty thing, just not doing something because it would make you unhappy seems naive. Perhaps I’m just not seeing the point. System mind control aside, I doubt a civilization could work without people pushing through things that make them unhappy, imagine if one of these people had a kid and then decides that it’s so much trouble and that they are unhappy because of it. Do they abandon the kid so that they would be happy? And as far as the dilemma with arthur, it seems no different than why people all don’t help at soup kitchens or volunteer to the Red Cross or something. Sometimes you just have to make the selfish choice, love is especially selfish. Honestly, him even considering this would be cause for alarm for mizu, I mean he feels duty to random people he could help, but what about his duty to his friends and family. He accepted guardianship of Lilly, he is mizu’s “totally not Fiance” his duty should be to these people first and foremost. Obligatory this is not attacking the author, obviously I like his stuff.
