BSV: Test scene - Lot's o' assets
🕑 Added 2018-07-23 02:25:10 +0000 UTC Hey guys, it's been about a week since uploading the completed rough with temp assets. So what's been happening, and what's in the pipeline?Currently, I'm plugging in all the cleaned-up frame assets from DoritoMeatbag. Some frames have required some edits, others have needed to be pretty much redrawn, but the VAST majority of them are perfect (DMB is a champ).
At this point, I'd say over half the assets are done. So after plugging in the ones I got, I'll hit DMB up for more assets and start in on coloring. Backgrounds I'll save for last, as they eat up the most computer resources when I'm previewing the animation.
While this is all going on, I'm gonna be hitting up some VA's to swap out my temp audio.
All in all, the test scene has been slow to develop, but I've learned a ton about better streamlining the process, and I've been building and sorting an audio library for the future episodes, as well as a production structure.
The real pipe-dream (and while I call it a pipe-dream, it's really the goal), is that after airing the first episode (15-18 minutes long), potential supporters will see that it's really happening, jump on board the project, and I'll be able to expedite the process by hiring more people.
I don't imagine this happening at once, but the hope is that support grows over time making it possible to complete episodes faster. The first 3 are already partially written, with the first pretty much done.
Currently, we got all the assets for this non-canon side character Jorge :D voiced by Joshua Tomar. (some pics below)
Thanks so much to all you guys for your support and patience. LET'S MAKE THIS THANG!
