I'm not going to lie - this heat does not agree with me. Have I already complained about this here? Probably. It's worse this year, right? Usually it's only this bad for a week or two in August / September, but this year it started in June and hasn't quit. I feel like I'm moving slowly through jello. Is this reverse seasonal depression?
The problem is that it makes me lethargic and unmotivated. I have so many cool photo sets to share with you, but now photographers tend to send me raw images because they know I can edit. But that takes a huge amount of time...even if the edits are simple (lighting, crop, etc). Also because they are usually sending me 1000+ images, it's kind of the just ridiculously time consuming.
When I photograph people, I send them 20-30 ready to use, fully edited glossy shots they can post anywhere. Like this photographer did (@leobrooklynbaby)!
Anyways I'm also in my soft girl season, which I realize is opposite to most people (soft in the winter, fit in the summer) but the heat absolutely kills me - as well as the social drinking and summer festivities. I just haven't been feeling great in my body, it feels a bit detached....like it's not mine at all. I know I'll feel better once it cools down a little.
Maybe I should move to Ireland or something...
