A Promise Best Left Unkept - Aya Edition V0.9.6 – Tipsy (5$) tier [English/ 简体中文]

I was sick for a week, and well… while I don't think this update is crazy or anything, I still had a lot of animations and illustrations to wait for, so overall I'm just happy I could release this this month.
As usual, let's start with the content of this update:
+ 19300~ word (total: 486k words)
+ 9 CG sets (total: 134 CGs)
+ 5 lewd scenes (total: 68 lewd scenes)
While this is called V0.9.6, it will be the version that releases on Steam. Mainly because, while I do have another ending planned, it is more of a bonus. And while I do hope I can release it for November (so not next month), I'm not sure that I can. The story is mainly over anyway, and I wasn't sure if that last ending was even worth it. I'm still going to release it when I can since well… I did say there would be 4 endings.
As for this particular ending, in order to reach it, you need to:
- Go to the convenience store when prompted to
- And not look too closely on your phone and in your bedroom (most of the times)
The actual choices are:
1. L-let's just take a quick look...
2. The convenience store
3. Maybe there are more hidden pictures like this one in my phone?
4. Let's browse for more pictures.
5. It's not your things. Leave it.
I also added an ending selection menu… though with the current jump to version menu, for you guys, I think it will just be easier to jump to version 0.9.6 directly.
In any case, at first I thought this ending would be better than the other branch from the same path… but now that I know that the other ending is overall liked, I think this one might be the weaker one. I guess it helps now that I have the final product in front of me. There are… lots of things I could say about it… but I won't. I don't think it's very helpful, and we can talk about it if people are overly critical of it.
There's also one scene at the end that is not animated. I don't think it's that big of a deal. I just didn't have the time to. I think I'll still animate it… but it will have to be for the Steam release, which will be later next month.
Overall… I'm still satisfied with Aya Edition as a whole. I was always scared that I couldn't corrupt Aya in a satisfying way—she's very hard to corrupt—but I ended up doing it. That bitch pull up a good fight, not gonna lie.
I hope you guys enjoyed your time with those characters. But don't be sad, we'll have other chances to see new, interestingly retarded characters in the future. Also... there's one ending left, so it's not over over.

Are we sure this isn’t the happy ending? Because to me, Harry is living the cuck dream. Bro gets to keep his cheating girlfriend, while she only mockingly allows him to get off with sex toys. Her pussy belongs to Luca, so loser Harry isn’t allowed to have sex with her anymore. The only thing that would make this scenario better is actually making Harry aware of her cheating and being fully okay with it. Basically the cuck premium lifestyle 🥵. But I digress. Seeing the babysitter get a full fcking appearance took me by surprise. I didn’t dislike it. However, although she was portrayed as somewhat young, she looked much older. In my eyes, late 20s, almost in MILF territory. Nothing wrong with that, but it kind of ruined my immersion. But that’s besides the point. This is the ending I liked most out of the ones we’ve gotten. In contrast to the previously released ending, this one has both POVs throughout the entirety of it. At first, while only playing Harry’s POV, it might feel like it ends without impact and therefore seems weaker. However, once you get to Misumi’s POV, you realize this ending is much nastier than we initially thought. I absolutely loved Aya’s POV. The scenes were incredible. The one where pregnant Misumi is getting her guts rearranged while texting Harry was, in my opinion, the hottest scene of the entire update. It legitimately made me explode almost instantaneously, so I had to take a break and come back later to finish the update. I won’t go into detail about every scene because I don’t want to drag this out, and for the most part, I liked them all. I do pray that Hangover-san animates that one scene at the end because it would make it so much more perfect. Anyway, that’s about all I’ll say. For me, this update was a 9.5/10. I won’t give it a perfect score due to small nitpicks of my own that I won’t mention. Definitely my favorite route and ending so far. Like always, great job.
