Luna in the Tavern: Animated, 0.2 Release

This is release 0.2 of Luna Animated, adding 5 ending scenes to Act 1. They have been rewritten, extended and animated for your enjoyment!
We’ve done a massive amount of error analysis and fixed many things that have been annoying us for a while. I’m not a fan of coming back to and remaking finished material, you know – I believe it’s better to move forward, make new content and watch yourself grow as an artist and a writer. But the animated scenes had to be brought to a certain level – fix the text’s tempo, improve the art and prepare it for animation – so I’ve decided to finally fix some things.
I must admit that I’ve always considered the scene where men hit on Luna at the bar counter the weakest in the game. There’s very little text and the actual situation doesn’t escalate at all. But I was very interested in the fantasy of rubbing against Luna in full gear. This is one of my favorite scenes in the animated remaster. My art skills have improved a lot, so I managed to convey a broad palette of conflicting emotions that show Luna’s internal conflict as a woman flattered by being so shamelessly desired who also understands that it’s wrong. By understanding what to emphasize, I completely changed the scene’s dynamic, and the ending is different too.
The other scene that got a complete makeover is the one at the stables. I know it was quite controversial, even though it was intended to be, but in the end, I was disappointed by what exactly was emphasized in it. Now, with more skills and knowledge, I completely rewrote the text to make the scene more exciting and dynamic. There are now several layers of narrative, which makes it more interesting to watch. I almost never used internal monologue before – it’s a deceptively difficult tool that is easy to misuse, turning your narrative into a boring stream of internal thinking – but I have added it to my toolbox now, using it to highlight the heroes’ internal conflicts.
