"Sis, we really don't have time to do anything?" He asks, bending his head backwards over the couch to look into the kitchen. His sister rubbed her head as she sipped her drink. He was pretty sure it was tea.
"No, Vince, I have to leave in ten minutes to go to work. You can figure something out, you're a big boy." His sister says dismissively. Vince frowns slightly. They always used to do things together and lately she's been tired or distant. Her job has to be the cause, he knows if he was stripping nightly for people that his mental health would take a hit. So instead of being upset - or instead of showing it - he gives his older sister a small smile.
"Yeah I can. You want me to fix you lunch Riley?" His sister immediately shakes her head. "I'm gonna buy something on the way there. Might be best for me to head out there now actually." Riley then dumps her tea into the sink, before grabbing her coat. "Bed by midnight, no friends over and no sneaking out. You know the rules." The young woman says as she walks towards the door, not even looking at him.
He ignores the hurt and almost nods before saying "Yeah, no. I promise. Love you, stay safe." His sister merely hums as she opens and shuts the front door. Vince waits a few minutes, before pulling his legs up onto the couch and holding his body tightly. He knows she's upset about something, most likely work related but... He really wishes she wasn't like this. They used to get along so well.
Now she was barely home. And even when she was here... Well, she wasn't here. Not mentally at least. In the last month he's pretty sure he's seen her for maybe five hours in total. "I should just go to bed." He tells himself, as he stands up and walks into the bathroom. He brushes his teeth as his mind wanders, but thankfully he doesn't get lost in his thoughts. Instead, he just looks into the mirror at his reflection.
He'd just gotten a haircut recently and he thinks that the barber did a good job. Vince runs a hand through his brown hair and smiles as he remembers better times. Well, there goes not being lost in his thoughts... He shakes his head and walks away towards his room.
By the time he's changed into his pajama pants he's ready to be dead to the world. Though, it does take longer than he'd like before he finally drifts off to sleep.

"I need a hero, to save me now!"His phone blares loudly, making Vince jump out of bed. Vince yawns obnoxiously before he grabs his phone, his eyes still too gunked up to read the caller ID. "H'llo?" He says groggily. There's a snort on the other end of the line. "Vinnie! You asleep already? The night is just starting man!"
Ah. Jeff. One of the newest friends Vince had made. (One of his only friends if he was being honest) Vince coughs awkwardly and rubs his eyes harshly. "I uh, feel asleep. On accident... What time is it?" Vince asks, and Jeff just laughs. "Sure man, sure. It's nearly one and me and the boys were gonna raid the town, wanna come with?" See, Vince knows he'd be in serious trouble if he leaves. His sister doesn't give him many rules, but the few he does have she expects him to follow religiously.
But... Jeff is like the one person besides his sister who he can consider a friend. And if he can't hang out with one of them... For a moment he really considers it. He doesn't want to break her rules and give her a harder time than she's already going through. But he's also tired of feeling so <i>lonely</i>. In the end, his mind is made up quickly.
"Sure, sure. Give me a few minutes and I'll be ready." A horn honking outside makes his head whip around, and laughter can be heard in the background of the phone call. "We won't wait all night! Get your ass out here!" Jeff says, hanging up the phone. Vince instantly springs out of bed, rushing over to his closest. He grabs a plain black shirt and a pair of basketball shorts before grabbing his shoes and tieing them on like a monkey on crack.
He grabs a breath mint from the kitchen as the horn honks once more. Vince just barely has the presence of mind to grab his keys and lock the door before running down the apartment steps, swinging the door wide open. The black Porsche he recognizes as Jeff's goes wild as the teens inside cheer when they see him. Vince smiles as he runs up to the car.
"Sup boys?" He says as he opens the back seat, scooting into the car. Vince sees three other guys besides Jeff. Craig, head of the football team and Phil, one of Jeff's cousins. Mack is also here, the local stoner. Huh, didn't know he hung out with Jeff... "Nothing much Vinnie, what's been going on besides you snoozing. On accident?" Jeff says in the driver's seat as Phil, Mack and Craig chuckle. Vince just laughs. "Man shut up, and drive Jeeves." The car erupts with Oh's and Awe's, before Jeff makes a fake, annoying laugh.
"Well we figured that maybe we catch a nightclub later on and pass around the pipe. First thing's first though, we need to see some titties!" Mack cheers loudly, and Vince swallows air. He's a bit nervous, but he plays it cool. "Dope. I'm in, where we heading too?" The car takes off at a speed Vince thinks is illegal.
"The Call of the Wild, greatest strip club in town!" Jeff says, and Vince sighs in relief. He's fairly certain that his sister doesn't work there. His eyes widen when he realizes he needs a fake ID though to get in, but as he pats his shorts down he finds that he did grab his wallet and so the ID Jeff got him a while back is still there.
Still, this was the first time he'd ever have to use it. He hopes he can at least have some fun tonight and being busted for a fake ID would NOT be fun.

Vince was nervous. Genuinely, he was barely having a good time and he didn't understand how his 'friends' were so hyped up. The teen took another look at the stripper on stage, before turning his head away. It's not that he hated the view; she and every other dancer so far were great.
But he just didn't feel comfortable in here anymore. His fake ID could only get him so far and the bouncer occasionally looked over to their table which really set him on edge. Jeff smacked his back hard. "Dude, lighten up! We'll be fine, right guys?" The other friends in his group all cheer and raise up their glasses, all filled to the brim with cheap beer.
Vince softly smiles, and raises his own glass. "Cheers." He says quietly, and his friends all clink their glasses together. "Vince, come on man, if we were gonna get in trouble we already would have, so let's just have some fun ok?" Craig said, and Vince took a deep breath before nodding. He really was worried for nothing, but that's just who he was to be fair.
As he calms himself down, the music ends and the stripper gracefully walks away. Maybe he can enjoy the next one that comes out.
"And now ladies and gentlemen, one of our newest girls who has proved time and again that she's the best dancer here, give it up for Wendy!" Vince's eyes go wide as he hears the name, and they go wider when he sees her come down the stage in a provocative strut that would leave any man weak in the knees.
Unless of course, she happened to be your sister. As she starts to dance around the pole in bright blue lingerie, Vince starts to panic once more. Since when did she change clubs!? Okay, now he's dead. As the song ends and people cheer, he sister gives him a death glare before she finally turns and walks backstage. He wonders if he can make a run for it. There's nothing he can say that wouldn't get his sister in major trouble, so instead he just stands up and follows the lady as she escorts him through the club and down a small hallway. There's tons of doors, but she stops near the end and opens one of the rooms up. Vince walks inside and notes just how small it is, with only a chair and a bit of room to stand.
"She'll be here shortly, cutie, so just get ready and remember, no touching." She says as she shuts the door. There's a slight change of tone when she says that last part, but Vince doesn't have the mental strength to figure it out right now. Instead, he sits in the sole chair and decides to wait for his life to be over. He needs to calm down but he just can't. The teen takes several deep breaths, trying to figure out what to say so that maybe she won't be totally pissed at him.
He manages to think of a good few things before the door opens, and he then loses everything he had built up in his mind. The first thing he sees is the absolute rage in Riley's eyes as she practically slams the door closed behind her. His sister looks down at him with a level of anger he's rarely seen.
"Vincent Terry Jackson, just what the fuck do you think you're doing?" Vince opens his mouth, before music comes in on the speakers. "Let me just try to see if I've got everything. You're drinking - maybe even doing drugs for all I know - you're out past curfew AND out of the house when I told you to stay there, and you're here in my strip club fucking paying for me to dance for you?" Vince shakes his head.
"No! The last part wasn't me at all, it was those - " Riley scoffs harshly. "Forgive me if I don't feel like believing a damn thing you say Vince." Vince can't take it anymore.

"I'm sorry! Ok I'm fucking sorry! I should have stayed inside but lately I've just been so tired of being alone with no one to talk to since you keep avoiding me!" Clearly, this was the wrong thing to say. Riley scowls at him, and he can tell he just made everything worse.
"I'm sorry I'm not at your beck and call Vince, I'm working to keep a roof over our heads and to make sure you can still afford to fucking go to school." Vince knows he's fucked up. He opens his mouth but Riley just scoffs, and then she looks at him. Her gaze is intense and Vince doesn't want to know what she's thinking. He turns his head slightly away from her. For a few moments there's no sound except for the music, but even that ends. As the next song starts, Riley chuckles humorlessly.
"You want me to hang out with you more? Fine. Sure. I'm being paid for this time after all, may as well use it." She reaches around for her bra and takes it off, Vince's eyes going wide. "Ry, what are - "
"Shut up Vincent." His sister demands, as she walks forward and sits on his lap, throwing her arms around his neck. "You want bonding time then fine. Let's bond." Vince curls up into a ball as soon as he enters the car. He sets the passenger seat as far back as it can go and puts his phone on Do Not Disturb. Harsh words, but Vince nods.
