Goals are important! When you're stuck in a dead end job while you make not enough money to feed and house you it can feel like you're in a hole and can't get out. Goals are what make coming in to work possible because you know it's not the end and one day you will do something you want. I worked as a cook making fried chicken for years and because I had goals to be something greater one day I was able to leave. Now I'm making almost double the minimum wage in my state (almost four times the minimum wage of the country). My five year plan right now is to keep working hard and get promoted and to save enough money to buy a house. Romance is not part of the plan but if I find someone special in that time then that's a plus 🤣
