Gulp Overhaul!
🕑 Added 2023-08-19 18:00:00 +0000 UTCHere's an update that's been a long time coming- I've overhauled the Gulp skill!! Now instead of just being a "One-Hit-KO-Move-That-Always-Misses," it'll be a little more interesting!
If you successfully use the Gulp skill, you'll now swallow the enemy whole, trapping them in your stomach for three turns while you digest them! During these three turns, they'll struggle to escape (Damaging you slightly while giving them a possible chance to be spat up) while their health slowly gets chipped away.
Swallowing an enemy also puts you at a temporary disadvantage, making you more likely to be targeted by other enemies for those three turns. (Having a monster thrashing in your gut typically calls a lot of attention to you.) Enemies also target you more if your gulp attack fails, so use it with caution!!
That's all for now, there's a good chance a lot of these mechanics will end up being tweaked and changed around by the time Chapter 5 comes out, so lemme know what you guys think!!

I've actually been working on how upgrading the digestion system would work, so that's definitely something on the table!! I hadn't thought of the ability to swallow multiple enemies at once yet, though, that's definitely something I'll have to think about putting in!! (Probably later in the game though so it's not -too- overpowered haha)

Any plans to add moves that enhance the digestion too? Or the hability to swallow multiples foes?
