Happy February!
🕑 Added 2024-02-23 17:25:57 +0000 UTCJust like January, this month has felt quite slow with the building works. We are still tinkering away at the compost toilet. The roof HAS been poured at least, so whilst waiting for that to dry, weβve been trying to figure out the plumbing and creating a reed bed to clean the black water. I went to visit family in England for a few days, which was a lovely, if not, hectic break. It was my sisters birthday so we had a full day of morning yoga, painting pottery and afternoon tea. She is a master cake baker, and Sage enjoyed blowing out the candles with her several times! π Whilst away, I set Robbie on the task of making the danger stairs up to the toilet a little LESS dangerπ I think he slept for the whole first day we were gone, but then broke his back carrying GINORMOUS stones around. Heβs done a beautiful job! Iβve been trying to clear the garden a little to make way for some new plants too. We harvested all the celery and put in broccoli and cauliflower.π€€ Iβm so looking forward to the summer garden, so much abundance! Fingers crossed for the next video out the Sunday after next. Haha well yes we are just about hanging on! Thank you for checking we're ok! It has been insanely windy the past month! must be something to do with the geography of where we live, but every winter we get these such strong winds that last throughout winter, and it's quite a challenge making sure all our things don't blow away! Also it dries out all my vegetables much worse than the sun so we have to irrigate everything more as well! Plus Robbie doesn't sleep at all because he's worried about his solar panels!
