Icebell Texturing WIP!
🕑 Added 2022-02-11 00:35:56 +0000 UTCHELLO!!! It's almost valentines day?!? I feel I should make you guys a little gift.. We'll see what I can do for you! This is not the gift though, this is Icebell texture process! This is the first time I try to do this type of texturing, so there is a lot of studying and testing what works and not, luckily there's a lot of inspiration to take from models on sketchfab! I've tried a cutesy anime style, with inspiration from genshin models. I've combined gradient tones with more sharp toon details, and I've tried to use other colors for details other than the original to create a cool effect! Like the chocolate hair has a pink tint, and the vanilla hair has a blue/teal tint. Very faint though!
The textures are definitely a level up from what I've had before, I want this to feel very fresh, but magical, so I hope I can get that feeling. In the end I'm gonna try to make an outline on the model too, and then ofc rig it. The face wont look like this in the end, the mouth is just open like this so it'll be easier to edit shapekeys later. I have plans on making extra "cartoony" faces, so I hope I can do that too! It's coming together though, and it's exciting!!! This is the stage you start to really get a feel for how the model is gonna look! Now I just gotta get my hands on an iphone with face tracking, I only have an android myself aaaa.
I decided to post this even though I'm not finished yet because I'm excited, and also I have no idea how long I'll sit with this model. I want it to be almost perfect, so I'm gonna spend enough time on it! I hope that is ok!!

Thank you Jehemoth!! Yeah I found out there is a LOT of different ways of doing highlights and shadows, so I've ended up spending a lot of time studying how to do them the way I like.. It's kind of learning how to draw??

THANK YOU AAA!!! Yeah I feel I'll get the best result that way, I don't wanna rush the textures, as I see them as very important! And sharp tooth hell yeah!!!!! The tooth is called a moe fang btw, I love moe fangs!!!
