It reminds me of the tale of 2 donkeys one was carrying sand and the other one sponges, the one with sponges had a easier time carrying the sponges till they crossed a pond of water. The water washed the sand away making it easy to walk so the donkey that was carrying the sponges tried the same to a different result the sponges filled up and drown in the pond.
