Its ok I got the joke, but felt this was a good place to explain why all the people who are legitimately telling me why they won't be buying one isn't of much interest. My watch ended up costing me approx £200 as I offered to pay the postage and then I got hit with £130 import duty....so I do hope quite a few people watch this video....it'll probably take something like 200,000 views to pay for itself.

Maybe I didn't make it clear that my comment about not buying one was 'tongue in cheek' (a la your muppets segment). Strangely, I had been tempted by the Tesla 3 a few days ago and my finger was hovering over the £1000 deposit button. What put me off was that 200,000 people had already put a deposit down, so therefore the chance of getting one within a reasonable amount of time was quickly receding. At least that gives people a chance to save up the required money I suppose!

It's fine. I'm not on commission, I just make money if people watch my video. I think this is one of those things where if you have to think about whether you can afford it..then you can't. I saw how many thousands of people reserved the new Tesla car...so there's plenty of people out there who have a different relationship to money compared to you or I.
