Better late than never

So far on youtube I've had three complaints about suggesting that an old 1980s Lada isn't the best car ever made, a dozen people have asked me to name the tracks on the tape (all recorded from the Youtube audio library) one person suggested I should use copyright free music (it is), and a few people tell me I should have reviewed a good device instead (isn't hindsight brilliant)I don't know what happened with this planet....is it too late to volunteer for that suicide mission to mars?
I may try publishing the next video with the comments turned off.

It's odd - but whenever I mention the comments most people say to ignore them. When I've tried joking about them in the past - no one outside the UK understands the joke. Self deprecating humour only seems to be a thing in the UK, everyone else just thinks I'm getting upset.

Your videos are awesome. I wouldnt disable the comments, just ignore the bad ones, they just make themselves look silly. The "bad" version of cars and etc you use are obviously for demonstration purposes, so we get it :)

Hey Matt, ignore the tossers. While this was undoubtedly a miracle of modern marketing, in a former life i found a great many of these, complete with missing knobs and telescopic antenna on shelves in busy restaurant kitchens, faithfully locked on to capital fm or radio 2 (tuning knob missing). Yeah the cassette decks may be tat, but you didnt review the radio; which given where you live, i imagine you have pretty poor signal. The tuners in them always seem to lock on to an fm carrier pretty well, even when missing that chintzy antenna even within the bowels of a hot kitchen (lots of steel). P.S love the laskys catalogue!

Just take notice of good or interesting comments, nearly every video on youtube has a dislike or someone hating for what ever reason. Your channel is one of my favourites, what ever decision you take, ill support you. Keep up the great work!
