Greetings, and welcome back, everyone!
In this last set in this month's maps, we bring you two final maps. One the Altar of the Sand, is the aggregate of a lot of small desert altars.
Skintomes speak of ways to open paths through the sandseas here. Its many sigils light up as you traverse and solve the many entombed secrets of the desert's quiet maws. When the sigils are complete, it's said to transform the seas utterly, or offer a way into another realm - one hopefully, much less gritty and less likely to accrue in footwraps.
Last but not least, a way outwards and forwards from these deserts comes by the way of sails, and atop this verdant - verdant in comparison anyway - peak, lies the way forward and outwards of the desert.
From this peak some tribesmen use windsails and dinghies to leap from peak to peak, and it too, promises a way out that doesn't involve trudging the way you came:
And that's all for this set, folks! We have one last set to go - one more naturalistic, with plenty of rolling mounds, half-buried signs, and lightly-entombed ruins.
After that... To the darkness at the end of the tunnel... The gothic spires of Bazzoxan!
