Desert Set 7
🕑 Added 2021-12-31 21:31:39 +0000 UTCHappy New Year adventurers - and welcome back to the final part of our desert tour! As promised, this time we've got some fanciful and unique sites for your tomb raidin' and desert hoppin'!
This is our final set of maps for the desert theme too, and then - as the turn of the new year arrives - we'll be heading off to fresher, greener pastures. Quite literally, for we'll be arriving at magicked forests next.
First though, dry sand!
The first site we've got in mind is an ancient battlefield where a legendary spear and the dragon it slayed lies. It's a two part map, with a small maze of valleys on the southern end and the dragon's grave in the northern end. At night, the bones are said to whisper to passerbys, telling tales of treasure and gems...
Also included in this set is a gate map, meant to be a gateway to the desert ruins that comes with this set! Most of this ancient road is buried in the valley now, and only the gate remains of these sand-burned towns. It howls something fierce on most nights, but that's just the wind and some strategic cracks... Hopefully!
At night the sands in this area glows strangely, revealing glyphs and colors not native to sand. As usual, these comes with different types of desert for encounters benign and dire.
And that's all for this set, stay tuned for the next!
