Steampunk Set 9
🕑 Added 2022-07-31 13:44:37 +0000 UTCGreetings adventurers, and welcome back to the last part of our steamy adventures!
In this set is a six-part map that comes together to form the tunnelways beneath the town, where old sewer paths intersect with older train structures.
To the west is what used to be part of a tramway and little offices for its operators. Security used to be tight, and even now old traps roam ceaseless to cut down trespassers. Some demolition hardware has been left here and there, and the controls are tucked away in those tiny rooms.
Northwards is a sluice gate controlling part of an underground lake, and further north is an excavated pit whose insides may just promise a clue to the area!
On the eastern side of the maps is the site of an incident. A train lies derailed and buried in the tunnels. An excavation and rescue attempted and then abandoned. Little tunnels connect the area to the western tunnel too.
The entire tunnels come in an empty version, with the props and traps available as separate layers in PNG to overlay above it.
And that's the end of this part of our journey! We hope you all like the slight tweaks to the style we've had for this set: we were hoping to showcase a fantastical, shinier side of the olde' steampunk take, and here's hoping you liked it too.
Next month we're going Lovecraft, and we can't wait to gaze upon the abyss with you all! Until then!
