Steampunk Set 3
🕑 Added 2022-05-31 17:33:48 +0000 UTCWelcome back, adventurers!
In this last set for this batch, we've got a bunch of nooks and crannies to round off the town. In it is a small, regular clocktower with multiple floors, and some more small shops for the town's artisan district!
To start things off is a town hall, where a pulpit has been set up to preach the place's belief in perpetual motion machines:
Whether one wants to vote for or against the city's newest ordinance, this space will serve, if not the people, at least their functions.
Off to the side is another map of the artisan district, where a small-time smithy is tucked behind a tailor specializing in blimp canvas and an assembly line for small airship parts. The shops in the local area tends to be small, what with the lack of easily acquired real estate, and usually cater to the local industry of airborne travel.
Finally, the four floors of a clocktower, starting with the lowest level, where the tower keeper keeps his spartan abode (and keys), up through the inner workings of a ticking clock, and the highest floor where the inner face of time is. At night, strange markings on the floor are illuminated, perhaps providing a hint of the town's arcane origins.
And that's all for this set! Next month we'll be having a blimp of a time, quite literally, with an aviation station for all your fueling and resting and plane-hopping needs. The next set will be aircraft-focused. We're working on the main ol' artificer's place itself, but we're not sure yet it'll be out in time for the next update. The very last batch after the next though, will be mining-focused, with underground tunnels, the mini-dungeons, and the dwellings in it!
Until then, here's hoping your party will have a steamy adventure in these maps! Cheers!
