Steampunk Set 1
🕑 Added 2022-05-31 17:33:44 +0000 UTCGreetings, adventurers!
We're turning on the lights and going full steam ahead into the latest theme - steampunk! We've decided on a semi-fantasy aesthetic to it this time, so it won't look too out of place even in other magic-powered towns, instead of a rawer, grungier type of steampunk. We're pretty pleased with how the designs turned out, so hopefully you guys will like it too!
This month's batch will be setting the tone of the place, with some small shops, the necessary boilers and whistles of a gaslit town, and a small clock tower. And to start things off, we've got a workshop!
It showcases the town at its best, and forms part of a grand assembly line with multiple workspaces, a central pedestal for craftsmen, and all the modern conveniences of a steam-powered workstation.
Overlooking the workshop itself is a second floor, where craftsmen usually lower parts down to the line, and which aspiring rogues and spies might find convenient as a perch.
All the maps in this series come in the standard day/night plus a fire and snow variant, for when you need outbreaks of disasters, as well as frostpunk scenarios.
The kind of place that really blows hot and cold:
Also in this set is the first of the shops, is the 180 Leagues, a small gear store for those aspiring adventurers gearing up for a longer trip: from flint to lint, the store has all the things a voyage into the mines might need, as well as maps of the tunnels cordoned off behind!
And that's all for this first set, do stay with us for the next one!

Love this theme! My son and I are involved in playing and DMing in two Eberron-based campaigns, and we're always looking for evocative maps for the setting. Your "Sky City" maps are terrific for the upper levels of Sharn, but for grittier, more industrial lower levels, maps like these will be very helpful. Thanks!
