City Maps 04
🕑 Added 2021-02-28 23:30:49 +0000 UTCGreetings, adventurers!
We're back this week with the first district for the city map - a slum/thieves' area full of dilapidated buildings, crowded alehouses, and a warehouse full of ill-gotten goods!
Naturally, for the bonus map to this set we made fully fleshed-out interiors for all the maps, so every one on of these rooms are explorable, with some story elements hidden in there too.
The district is divided into four maps, and we'll be extending it a little later on into an organic format so that it looks better as a backdrop:
Plus, empty maps will be coming later too. For this update however, we've got older goodies from the Aztec set: an asset pack, tileset, and a minimap for the interior of the temple for those who've requested it.
And so, here's the main map of this week!
In the northwestern section of the map is a crowded shopping district with a few small alehouses and saloons. This area feature tiny, crowded buildings full of tables that are practically on top of one another: narrow stairways, gaudy knickknack shops, and boarding houses.
The tavern contains a stairway that leads to the smuggler's den, the city under the city. Under the floorboards of this fine establishment is where the actual business is conducted:
Also included in this set is, the eastern end of the district where a warehouse ripe for a bit of banditry sits. There's a small teller's office by it, and a path down to better treasures.
The night version is especially dark for stealthy quests:
With the underground extension of it:
That's it for this set, stay tuned for the next!
