She sometimes does! Some birds do that while holding onto the perch..it can be a good way to get energy out!

My female major Mitchell does super cute chippies too. I don't get the dinosaur chicken noises. But she does occasionally let out a scream. Do you find Maribou will just flap her wings fast periodically for no reason? Mine does that and I've just assumed it's a quirk.

My Goffins goes into her carrier easily, but it's a dog crate and has no perch in it. I have her in it, a half hour at the most though. Her sleep cage is a modified small dog kennel. She does have a perch along with her water dish for the evening. She is just too precious.
