Our relationship with them is very new and they're changing a lotttttt of things with our input so it makes sense they aren't all quite on the same page yet. I'm glad someone corrected the info you were given but I'm still gonna have words lol.

So I called down to them & they told me their policy is to clip. I talked to two different people, I even asked if I wanted an unclipped baby if they wouldn’t for me. Then someone a bit later from there texted me saying they are adjusting policies moving forward & won’t be. 💛 I’m guessing the first two staff just didn’t know that new rule yet. ☺️ I ended up going to look at those Scarlett babies. I fell absolutely head over heels for one & even though she was clipped previously she flew to me - twice! Not far, but full on want & desire to fly. I’m riding on faith but we picked each other & I cannot wait to see her in the skies. I’ll be reaching out to see what it takes to enroll on free flight soon! She already started eating some BT pellets tonight when offered! 🥹🥹

RUN AWAY. I can recommend breeders who will not clip if you are interested. They will even wean the baby onto our diet if you want! Clipping them as fledglings is so detrimental and if you want to do freeflight then it's important not to have that happen.

Hey there, so I have completed the baby bird course (SO GOOD! & you ROCKED that fall vibe!) I’m going to look at a few Scarlett & a couple ruby babies this Saturday. I think the place is nice & has great reviews.. from talking to them they truly think they are doing what’s best but they told me today that the babies are clipped (for safety 😫🤮) after they made their first flight in the room. 🙄 I’m pretty bummed as free flight is a massive goal of mine for this babe. Every other place I’ve called has all said they “must clip”. In your experience is this a run away situation or make it work?
