Dave's turn to work with Zip...

He is more of my sounding board or will watch a session upon request, maybe brainstorm ideas/solutions or next steps. But today is a nice treat of him working with Zip in a hands-on way! You can see her apprehension yet willingness to push through. What did you think of this session?

Thanks for pointing this out. I replayed the video and apply Dave's technique on my bird, and it works. Finally it flew a short distance , landing on my wrist, after a year of only step up to me. Eventhough on the next day , it wouldn't fly to my hand , but i 'll figure out a way . :)

Oh , so Dave gave her more treats. I did not see that. But I do notice that the f u feather was up , while Zip was training with Dave. And no f u feather , while training with Jamie.

Zip has improved in the time you have been working with her. She definitely was apprehensive about going to Dave. His patience with her and taking time to give her extra treats began building the trust Zip needed to push through her fear and do what she was asked to do.
