Toy Training With Zip (YIKES π€)
🕑 Added 2024-03-16 15:00:08 +0000 UTCToday I am toy training with Zip and using Jinx to teach her. Zip is not a very patient bird, especially today... and so she's getting a bit frustrated...
The toy I am using today is our Tegan toy available at BirdTricksToys.com.

My Hahn's macaw favorite is the Tegan. He's like Jinx. Popping beads is more interesting than treats

I am so enjoying the training videos. I am working with my Lucky (DYHA) to teach him to play with his toys. Tonight he grabbed one off of the table and carried it up on his cage and continued to shred it! No treats needed!

It is such a fine line between teaching toy training vs aggression. You did a great job of constantly reevaluating the situation to dissuade the aggression coming from Zip
