BTT - Trick Training - Into My Hand!

You can also shape this into having your bird allow touch as well. I HIGHLY recommend you teach the following behaviors before attempting this one:
- Step Up
- Go through a hoop
- Go through a tunnel
- Wave or Shake

Thank-you so much for showing 'bummer' sessions. I can get downhearted when things aren't going well. It's really reassuring to know that's all part of the journey and not to take it too much to heart.

Thank you so much Jamie for showing this trick! I've been super curious how you do it and get past the biting. I really want to teach my budgie this as he has had bad experiences with hands in the past, and while I have taught him to see my hand as friendly and he does now see my hand as help, food etc. and positive things, he still won't quite allow any kind of direct touching like this. I do worry about the biting but seeing you do this with Monet has given me a little more confidence to try it! Thank you! And I love watching that moment when the behaviour shapes and they realise when they are about to do the "wrong" behaviour then they stop :)
