I often hear myself say "Do. Not." -- followed by the same noise of frustration! But I had not stopped to really think, at the point of "Do.Not" I already know what is coming. I am anticipating the what is likely to happen next -- and next time, I need to go back one (or more steps) and interrupt or change the antecedent. Thank you for sharing all of this, Jamie! It is helping me think more like a trainer.

Cold to me is a cool breeze 😂 but our fall temps can be high 40’s to high 50’s. Since this aviary is in the shade it can feel cooler than in the sun.

Thanks for letting us see a window into a tough (emotionally) session. I especially appreciate your download afterwards when you recognized you knew the right thing to do, even voiced it, but you struggled to follow through because of your emotions. You teach us so much in such an authentic way. People think bird people are weird, but there are so many parallels between how we relate to our birds and how people relate to each other. Love love love the aviary! I’m also curious what temp you were working in. “Cold” to me in MN is different than many places. You have jackets so thinking it was pretty chilly.

Don't be too hard on yourself; everyone has bad days, even birds. They're only human. All that being said - this is the first we saw of the conditioning aviary. Are you happy with it? It looks awesome.

Awesome video Jamie very cool to see the new flight aviary. I understand the distraction working with jazz and my Diego screaming it very much affects her training. I am so much learning that training jazz definitely affects the feelings. Awesome video. Thank you for sharing.
