Cockatiels haha. Love-hate relationship with humans. Please give me scritches no no don't touch me. Will work only on this side human no wait jk I can do it on the other but only if I want to. Hey watch me fly like something just burnt my tail feathers all Helter skelter even after training recall lol. I love cockatiels because they are nuts. Truly they are mini cockatoos. No two are the same either. At least not from my experience. I love watching you work with Clyde. He's gonna be a rockstar. You're going to change his life. I love that I get to be a part of that, even if only through a looking glass. 😊

My good god I love cockatiels but I swear they're one of the hardest species to work with. I've had Putin for just over a year. In that time we have gone from -Terrified of humans to coping with humans -Unhealthy to Healthy seed mix -Seasonal feeding/chop -Target and short flights But we're still incredibly neophobic about new toys and new objects. So next 6 months are -Introduce more new things regularly (I have a bird room because I have dogs and cats which is why moving them for exposure can be difficult) -Get him to step up 90% of the time - Continue with training. And hopefully get nail clipping in there so where. He can do short little flights to and from me. Spin and twirl. But as you've seen Jamie, it can be very hit and miss. And theres been times when something has happened and hes reverted. Putin actually prefers training between 6-8pm. Then bed 9-9. You're doing awesome work as always. And continue to inspire me. Thank you. 😊

The side thing!!! Both my girls do that - usually if there’s something they want to keep an eye on. They’ll happily interact with you as long as they don’t have to turn away from whatever is so interesting. But completely ignore you if you choose the wrong side 😂 Clyde is such a little character!
