POLL QUESTION - Need Your Input!
🕑 Added 2022-02-16 17:00:08 +0000 UTCHey everyone! This poll is in regards to our "test product" (if you aren't sure what that is, please search test product on Patreon to see previous posts about it as well as the coupon code to purchase it).
I know many of you have been wondering when we would launch the Winter/Spring recipe (currently we are on Fall/Winter), but the hold up of why we have waited is because our shipment of bags has been delayed. We still don't have an ETA on when the Winter/Spring packaging will arrive, but we CAN make the product.
So, I wanted to reach out to all of you and see what your thoughts were about this! There are 2 options we have to choose from. Please let me know which option YOU prefer - whichever option is chosen the most by Friday is the one we will go with...
Option 1: We officially switch our recipe over to Winter/Spring and offer the new season, but the product will be in a DIFFERENT bag (for example, you'll receive the Winter/Spring recipe, but it will be in the Summer bag).
Option 2: We continue making Fall/Winter until the new bags arrive, and switch to Winter/Spring once the correct packaging comes in.
If, on Friday, Option 1 is the winner, we will switch over to Winter/Spring on Monday, Feb 21. If Option 2 is the winner, we will wait to switch over until we have the bags (and will keep you posted on that progress).

If it's a legal issue, Get blank stickers from like Staples, and print them out at home. Black and white ink, etc... I'm pretty sure you most likely have templates on your computer... Since most of us are aware of the ingredients... most likely won't be an issue . But regardless always protect your business.

Clear vacuum seal bags ( light/no vacuum) with a sticker label would work too.

That’s a good idea, or a blank bag with no label. We know we all are super excited for the slik presentation that will be labeled on the bags in the future, but we also know it is a test product.

Can you just get brown bags and mark them winter spring temporarily until you get the new bags? My birds have loved all the formulas. Thank you for this. I have noticed a couple other people who sell bird food have copied the freeze dried but you guys were the first. He he

I don’t know a lot about this, my mom works for a local organization that assures customers rights and Transparency, From a legal-ish standpoint, you should not sell a product in a bag that doesn’t align with the content, you don’t want to sell one product in bag that has a different product listed on the label. From a comfort stand point, I feel like your people wouldn’t care much, and that we just want to feed our bird the correct recipe for the season - lol. However I might suggest you look into asking your legal counselors for assistance- I am not sure what are the rules in the USA for test products.

My birds and I vote to keep the food coming now. The bag doesn't matter as we have our own containers. Larger amounts would reduce packaging and we would like to suggest 20 lb. bags. 10 lb. bags would be okay too.

The Most Important Part is that the Ingredients are nutritionally what my parrot needs. I don't care about packaging. Every Season has the balanced diet that is needed. So, I do not care if it's summer veggies or winter. It's the same nutrients that is needed. Do what is best business practice and what is best for the Parrots. I'm just grateful you have this. It saves me the heartache of doing all the work for my 1 parrot flock. Grateful. Especially with all you have on your plate right now. Do what is easiest for you. We all understand.

I vote also to get the new recipe out there. Sorry to say, my birds did not like the present formula.

I vote get it out there, we will know what we are ordering and can just use a sharpie to denote such on the bag.
