A lot of my project birds come from Ronie’s for the love of birds rescue in utah. For Rusty I mentioned him on a live with patrons and followed up with an interview but for future ones it could be something similar or you can check with Ronie’s on their adoption requirements 💜💜💜

I also was thinking that it like there's a bit more downy patches. Either way, he looks super cute as is because his face stands out more. Love how you can see the gears turning when the spray bottle is around.

Oh my, I'm so enjoying watching you work with ekkies. I love my boy so much, I just thought I'd add my boy absolutely loves taking a shower with me. I also love watching the color change of the feathers as they are a breed that using light to communicate and Mel's blog on that fact helped my relationship so much with Mylo my male ekkie. Also wanted to add that my boy loves everyone and having interaction with people so much. And is a training rock star. So really loving to see you working with ekkies, I'm enjoying this so much. As always, thank you so much for all you do to help birds and the humans who care for them

I have worked with 4 male ekkies now, and they are all exactly like Rusty in their behavior. Fast eaters, super motivated to train and interact (even right after a meal) and super smart. I think his personality is probably right in line with a "typical" eclectus male 😊
