Watching Fennel reminds me of the beautiful days I had with my eclectus female. Of all the critters I've had down through the years, with the exception of my desert tortoise, no one reminded me more of a dinosaur then my female eclectus. I always wished I would have called her "Dinah".

I rescued a Quaker from humane society who had been on a diet of Cheerios and black sunflower seeds. Diet conversion wasn't going well, and I came up with the idea to par-boil a sweet potato and then I froze it. Every time I make a batch of food, I use a grater and grate it into the food.
