I loved seeing them meet. Budgies are such social birds and live in flocks of a thousand or more in Australia. I have 2 males that bicker all the time with an occasional fight. They are out together all day and sleep in separate cages at night. Normally Budgies get along fine, but one of my males is hormonal year round. I've tried everything to try to balance him out. He regurgitates and master..... daily. I remove one girlfriend( toy, wooden, bead, shiney thing,all things round, earring...) only for him to find something else the next day. He eats veggies and your natural seed mix. I'd take him to the vet, but he still won't let me handle him. I've purchased your budgie course and I'm working on training and gaining his trust. It's taken a year, but I finally feel like he's become interested in working with me. Anyways for now I've accepted his strong desire to be a dad and hope that I can figure out how to get him to be less hormonal. I think both Sugar and Blue are boys.
